After sleepwalking the first 43 minutes the Mavs make a comeback to beat the Jazz 96-85 led by Dirk’s 40 points.
Guess during a timeout Dirk stared at the scoreboard long enough to realized the Mavs were about to spoil fan appreciation early in the season. So he did what any franchise player is supposed to do. He took over, scored 29 points in the 4th quarter, and willed the Mavs to a victory.
Put this one in the books as a ‘W’ as Mavs are now 3-1.
