Lisa Brown-Ross, CEO of the African American Museum Dallas, will deliver the keynote speech at the annual Founders Day celebration of the African American educators in history program. Brown-Ross is a seasoned marketing communications professional with a career spanning several prominent roles, including Director of Marketing development at Anthem Strong Families, and leading the LIR Group, INC., a consulting firm focused on branding and crisis communications. (DALLAS, TX) – Lisa Brown-Ross, CEO of the African American Museum Dallas, is scheduled to present the keynote speech at AAEAHP, annual Founders Day celebration. She will speak on “The Importance of Conservation: Protecting our Culture.” The celebration of 24 years of the African American educators in history program is at 11:30am Saturday, February 14, at the African American Museum Dallas, 3536 Grand Avenue Dallas. A reception will follow the program.

Brown-Ross is a seasoned marketing communications professional and strategic thought leader, known for her expertise in brand management and community relations. Throughout her career, she has developed innovative strategies that boost profits and deliver significant community impact, using collaborative, data driven approaches to engage stakeholders and foster meaningful dialogue. Among her notable accomplishments, Lisa Brown Ross developed a marketing plan for Anthem Strong Families that increased awareness and revenue, securing $15 million in federal grants led USAID communications efforts that resulted in scholarships for 1.5 million girls in Sub Saharan Africa; and established the first public affairs department for the Seattle Police Department and improving Crisis Communication and Community Relations.

Lisa Brown Ross’s career spans several prominent roles, including serving as Director of Marketing development at Anthem Strong Families, where she led rebranding efforts and managed social media strategy. She also led the LIR Group, INC., a consulting firm focused on branding and crisis communications, where she has consistently delivered revenue growth for her clients. In addition, Lisa Brown Ross has held leadership positions with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the city of Seattle advancing health initiatives and Public Affairs strategies. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Texas at El Paso, completed various leadership training programs and is recognized as a Telly Award winner for script writing and production.
