Dallas Mavericks and Taxact Host Biztown Event

On Monday, the Dallas Mavericks will host fifth and sixth graders from Solar Prep for Boys at Junior Achievement’s BizTown. This event, sponsored by TaxAct, will combine in-class learning with a day-long visit to a simulated town, comprised of 15 life-sized Dallas businesses where students can learn how to run a business, earn paychecks, open bank accounts, pay taxes and vote. Throughout the day, Dallas Mavericks ManiAACs, D-Town Crew and Mascot Champ will accompany the students in the program. To learn more about MAVS care, click below:
