Congressman Al Green to Host Pen-And-Pad Briefing on Critical
Reparations Legislation for Tulsa Race Massacre Survivors

(Houston, TX)—On Monday, October 28, 2024, Congressman Al Green will host a pen-and-pad briefing with Attorney Damario Solomon-Simmons, founder of Justice for Greenwood. The briefing will address critical historic legislation proposing $20 million in reparations for the two last living Tulsa Race Massacre survivors, 109-year-old Ms. Lessie Benningfield-Randle and 110-year-old Ms. Viola Fletcher, as well as additional legislation for Greenwood.
