Attorney Louis Bedford IV, volunteer attorney, Dallas County Democratic Party and legal counsel, State Senator, Royce West, has produced a report on election challenges faced by election officials and voters during the March 2022 primary that included equipment malfunctions, mail-in ballot rejection, staffing and counting concerns. Example: In Dallas County, 51% voted on election day; 44% voted early; and 5% voted by mail; and 16% of surveyed voters said they were personally impacted by “voting rights” issues.
