Welcome to Stay Woke! Your Dallas Weekly Newsletter for Friday, June 27, 2025!
We’re made of stern stuff, still, this June’s been rough, and I’m not ashamed to admit it. Our country’s in flux, the administration is nuts and SCOTUS isn’t helping a bit. Still, we stood up for Pride ‘cuz justice is on our side even as they make us wait longer. ‘Til then we’ve got our music – and don’t get me started on that kick – and the ways it’s made us stronger. So go hug the youth, and tell them the truth, that Black folks will soon have our win. Then when they get sad, or racists make them mad, be sure to tell them again. Have a blessed weekend fam!
