One of the biggest barriers to healthcare is cost. As a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike, Prism Health North Texas tackles that challenge head-on with a sliding fee scale that can make the fee for appointments as low as $10 for those paying out-of-pocket, based on income and other factors. Patients can also use Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance, but the promise remains the same: no one is turned away from receiving care.

PHNTX’s five health centers and three pharmacies are designed to meet a wide range of needs under one roof, making healthcare easier and more efficient for families. Their services include:
- Adult and pediatric primary care to keep families on track with preventive screenings, wellness visits, and vaccinations.
- Women’s health services with same- and next-day appointments, ensuring that moms and kids can be seen on the same day at the South Dallas Health Center.
- Dental care, offered at two centrally located offices.
- Mental and behavioral health support that prioritizes treating the whole person.
- On-site pharmacies, meaning prescriptions can be filled immediately after an appointment.
This integrated model allows multiple family members to receive care at the same time, saving parents time off work, reducing transportation needs, and cutting costs.
