Black gay and bisexual men in Iowa face significant barriers to accessing PrEP, including mistrust, stigma, discrimination, inadequate medical insurance, lack of knowledge, and fear of side effects, but public health awareness and education, culturally sensitive educational programs, and free access to PrEP could help address these issues.
