On April 9th, 2022, Face Forward International‘s hosted a carnival-themed Gala at the Eye of the Joule in downtown Dallas.
The event hosted 300 attendees with special guests on the red carpet like Dr. Tiffany Moon of the Real Housewives of Dallas, Caitlyn Jenner and surgeon Dr. Rod J. Rohrich. Historically hosted in Los Angeles, this is first time the non-profit’s event has been hosted in Dallas along with the expansion of their services to the Lone Star state. Face Forward International hosts these charitable events annually to raise funds for patients medical treatment. This treatment can range from mental health to surgical procedures. The non-profit was founded in 2007 by Deborah and Dr. David Alessi on the principle that survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and cruel acts should have access to surgical care and emotional counseling regardless of their level of income.
Guests were grooving to the DJ with access to a whiskey & cigar lounge. Later in the evening Deborah Alessi spoke on the importance of the fundraising with domestic abuse survivors on stage with her. The evening’s musical performances opened with Canadian-American comedian, podcast host, actor and musician Stephen Kramer Glickman. And 5 time Grammy award winning hip hop artist CeeLo Green closed the night out, performing classic hits like “Crazy” and “F**k You”
