Dallas fashion designer and founder of V’Che Label, Toni Grant, showed off her 2022 Spring & Summer collections last Friday at the Cowboys Country Club.
The invited guests were greeted with champagne and horderves before the show commenced with actress & producer Vivica A Fox as the host. Grant revealed 3 collections from V’Che Label, all of which included her signature design style of sharp lines and structure for cocktail and evening wear. The Private Label Silk collections were different with heavy use of bright colors never shown from V’Che Label before.
DW spoke with Toni Grant on what inspired this collection. “I really wanted to show growth and a different side of what I can do. I want every woman to see a design from V’Che and see themselves as a woman with great style and confidence.”
V’Che Label has only been around for 3 years, but has already seen monumental success through Toni Grant’s vision. V’Che has been seen at New York fashion week for 2 years straight. And with Dallas growing as a fashion hub, Grant’s designs have caught the eyes of celebrity fashionistas from NYC to LA. With so much success garnered in such a short time, we asked Grant what she would tell young woman who want’s to take that leap of faith into the fashion design.
“You know, I’m just a girl from Arkansas with a dream. I would advise any woman wanting to get into this career is to do your homework and invest in yourself and your brand. Sometimes you have to sacrifice a lot in the beginning to see the results you want in the end. I am fortunate to have an amazing team, family and friends who have supported V’Che since day one.”
During the show, with each collection, the crowd cheered as the models donned everything from evening gowns to jumpsuits. Even the fashion show’s host, Vivica A Fox, showed off her own V’Che animal print jumpsuit and talked about her favorites from the collections. The models also wore jewelry from Kamo by Kary which is a Dallas based jewelry & watch company founded by Real Housewives of Dallas star, Kary Britingham.
V’Che Label’s spring & summer collections left us all wanting more and we cant wait to see what Toni Grant shows us next!
