In Guardians, James DeWitt III stars as Jack, a reluctant hero who rescues people for a living and is determined to slow down and live a more normal life and maybe find a girlfriend. His veteran partner David, however, has other plans as their latest mission pits them against a vicious cartel and a vengeful adversary.

In this five-episode series written by Chason Laing, Jack has been ‘called by God’ into the business of showing up; people find themselves in dire situations and God sends Jack and his team show up to rescue them. After three years of this routine Jack is looking to live a more normal life and maybe find a girlfriend. But when his teams latest mission goes off the rails and an old adversary begins hunting down his team, Jack’s partner David becomes convinced that Jack must stay the course and follow his God given calling or risk severe consequences. Now, Jack has to choose between a calling he’s no longer sure he believes in and what he wants most in the world.

Chason Laing is a professional filmmaker and photographer from Texas who received his B.A. from Ouachita Baptist University and his Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary. Chason has an amazing wife and 5 kids who are all active in the production company. He is a producer…Regardless of if it’s a feature film or product photography; everything needs to tell a story and the camera is Chason’s tool. Over the past 15 years he has learned the techniques, processes, and technology to tell amazing stories. He has written and developed TV series, commercials, children’s shows, and feature films. Chason has traveled to film markets and festivals and worked with hundreds of amazing people. Guardians is only one of Chason Laing’s many credits on IMDb and he is on the fast track to secure many more.
About Producer Charles W. Bush
Charles W. Bush is a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas who holds a degree in Communications Radio/TV Production at Arkansas State University with a minor in Theater. After graduating he moved to Dallas, TX in hopes of starting a production company of his own. In 2010 he founded Appointed Productions and began his professional work within the DFW area and abroad. In 2013, he became the Communications and Media Specialist for DVA Productions, a nonprofit theater company based in Fort Worth, TX. To his credit there are many more events, television shows, commercials, music videos and films for which he has written, produced, directed and/or provided marketing support. Charles is not only an award-winning film producer but also has numerous IMDb credits for those projects.
