In a city as lively and fast-paced as Dallas, meaningful connections can often feel just out of reach. Thatโ€™s why Jasmine Ohen, a passionate marketing and community strategist, founded Women in Dallasโ€”a thriving social community dedicated to helping women form deep, lasting friendships in adulthood.

With a passion for strategic storytelling and operational growth, Ohen has built Women in Dallas into more than just a networking groupโ€”itโ€™s a movement. โ€œRelationships elevate our quality of life, especially as we navigate multiple life stagesโ€”often all at once,โ€ says Ohen. โ€œWhile loneliness may lurk in the background, the friendships we build drive us forward. Even one deep connection can transform lives.โ€

With a theme centered on confidence and community, attendees were encouraged to wear whatever made them feel their best, fostering an atmosphere of authenticity and empowerment. Whether newcomers to the city or simply looking to expand their circle, guests engaged in curated icebreakers, high-energy activities, and interactive stations designed to spark organic, lasting friendships.

โ€œThis yearโ€™s turnout exceeded our expectations,โ€ Ohen shares. โ€œWith international gift sponsorship from Medik8 and longtime support from Amika, we created an experience that spoke to every personality and preference. From our thoughtfully curated activationsโ€”like Paint & Sip, Crafts & Conversations, the Overstimulation Room, and personalized skin analysisโ€”we ensured something for everyone.โ€

More Than Networking: A Community and Movement

Smiles were in constant supply during the event.

With premium swag bags and giveaways, guests left with more than just new connectionsโ€”they walked away feeling truly seen and celebrated. โ€œWeโ€™re not just about building adult friendships,โ€ Ohen explains. โ€œWeโ€™re changing womenโ€™s perspectives, purpose, and pathways in life.โ€

Looking Ahead: Deeper Connections, Bigger Impact

Following the success of this yearโ€™s mixer, Women in Dallas is doubling down on its mission to create intentional, intimate spaces for connection.

Whether itโ€™s through our dinner series pilot or community walks, weโ€™re committed to nurturing an atmosphere of intimacy.โ€

With Jasmine Ohen at the forefront, Women in Dallas continues to prove that in a city as big as Dallas, no woman has to navigate it alone.
