MESQUITE – Weather permitting, all lanes of eastbound US 80 will close and detour to the frontage road at Town East Boulevard from 10 p.m. Sunday, July 20 to 5 a.m. Monday, July 21 as part of an ongoing improvement project in the corridor. Drivers should plan ahead for extra travel time.
The Texas Department of Transportation is responsible for maintaining 80,000 miles of road and for supporting aviation, maritime, rail and public transportation across the state.
