In times like this however, we have to learn to recognize when we are protecting our mental health and blinding ourselves with toxic positivity from the realities of the world.
Rap & Misogyny: How Do We Reconcile Artists Actions with Their Work?
With figures like Kodak Black, Tory Lanez and Da Baby in the rap industry, there is a reminder that what you hear an artist’s songs is at times an uncomfortable misogynistic reality.
