Rosie Thomas is a rising star. A native of Dallas Texas, she is proof that Black Girl magic is real.
She has made her mark across the state of Texas becoming a household name in the Tax Preparation and financial freedom industry.
A subject matter expert in her field, Rosie came from humble beginnings and grew her own empire using the stepping stones she worked to collect along the way. Having her first full-time job at the age of 18, she is no stranger to hard work and the power of sweat equity.
Like most of us, she started in Corporate America where she worked as a Supervisor for Nissan Motors. At that point, Rosie knew that business was in her DNA. In 2001, due to an aggressive interest in identifying and working towards a “multiple stream of income” Rosie expanded her horizons. Pregnant with her first child, she started working for Jackson Hewitt. It was here that she found her niche and realized this was a career path that came natural to her.
Four short years later, she franchised with a well-known tax company; Colbert and Ball. Four more years thereafter; she was ready for the big leagues. In 2009, she opened the doors to her very first tax office in Dallas, Texas.
Here we are now in 2021. The first tax office Rosie opened back in 2009 has turned into a powerful enterprise now known as Thomas Financial. Due to her charisma and innate ability to reach the masses. Rosie has commissioned two customized courses that she travels the country teaching as well as developing her own tax software playing in the technology space.
A force to be reckoned with, Rosie has changed the lives of many young minority entrepreneurs through her customized curriculum, and small business tax planners. She is passionate about the growth of those that look like her and is impactful in ways that move the needle with women across the nation.
